Starting my first engine tear down and “build”. It will lead to a somewhat spicy VVT configuration in my NA. Have to do it in my apartment as I don’t have a garage. The FiST served excellently acting as a pick em up truck to transport the engine. And S vend if you catch this, sorry but I can’t visit until the Welsh government gets it shit together so I can see a new Griffith.

I had to partially dis assemble the engine while it was in the back of the FiST so I could carry it in pieces up the flight of stairs to my apartment.

Was unemployed for a couple months after leaving my last job. Got another one now. Letting Uncle Sam send me to a sandy place for a while later this year.

96' block, NB2 stock higher compression pistons, reuse these rods if I can otherwise splurge on lighter forged units, NB2 VVT head, JDM/EUDM square top intake, shave head for higher compression 11:1, IN/EX cam mod, lighter flywheel, and Megasquirt to round it off.

I’d like to think so. Didn’t realize until I could actually start buying parts that the NA block is interchange able with the NB heads. Allowed me to save a good amount of money. Got the whole borked NA engine and NB2 head for solid deals.

I’ve never been a fan of the facebook group, despite being a member . E90M3 name is still accurate and I plan on keeping it as long as I possibly can; it’s paid for and I adore it. I’m currently in a serious relationship and I’ve been telling my girlfriend we’d need a three car garage so all the cars can live inside.

The FB group has been disappointing lately. Back here I remember members such as yourself and hope to have the fun on here I once did have. And dude I feel the garage thing. Nothing smaller than a 3 bedroom house has a garage around me.

Oppo has always been enjoyable , and I say that as someone who was gone for three years; 2013-2016. We’re awhile away from actually buying a house, but it could be a reasonable purchase as I’m an engineer and she’s a doctor .

All spare parts. Still flogging the NA with its 156k mile stock engine. This engine I’m putting together wont be in the car for some time because Uncle Sam is sending me away for some time
