"The movie is set in 1972, yet a Volkswagen Vanagon is shown several times on screen which was not built until 1979." I love IMDB trivia

I hate when they do things like that. They used a FWD 1980s Olds Cutlass Cruiser wagon in a scene taking place in the 70s in that DeLorean movie Driven. Really took me out of the narrative

This airplane was definitely NOT flying in 1969...

They made the same mistake in Austin Powers... unless they bought him a new jet while he was frozen, or something

This happens a lot.  Check out imcdb.com for lots of cars in movies, and lots of anachronisms.

Errors like this really bug me.

I’m trying to learn to accept when U.S. shows do mock ups of the U.K.

But it’s not just things in the wrong era, it’s continuity or things that are needlessly wrong.

Like this image from the Canadian show, The Listener.

Kinja'd!!!

Why did they reverse the image the scene ?

Kinja'd!!!

Why is this Chrysler parked where it is?

The garage door is at least two or three feet to it’s left.
