Oh lawd he coming! Well..the chonky new kidney grille is on the 2021 BMW 4 Series. It will certainly be interesting to see the full car when it’s released soon.

The rear looks a lot more traditional at least. As always I’ll withhold final judgement until we can see the full car, but this is definitely a bold move BMW is making.

That generic derivative rear light shape is being embraced by the copycat design corps working for German makers. Here’s the rumored W213 facelift:

The front’s not bad, but man I do not like that rear on the sedans. Works on the S-Class coupe and AMG-GT, but not here . A buddy of mine saw a camou flaged GL-somethingorother test mule awhile back and asked me to guess what it was from a picture of the rear . I thought it was an Audi.

The thing is, they held out against giant grilles for so long, only to go 110 percent when they finally succumbed. They’re like that kid your freshman year of college who’s never touched drugs or alcohol before.
