I love that there are classic Indy 500 races on YT.

Seeing names like Fittipaldi, Mansell, Villeneuve all in the same race is kinda surreal for someone who knows these names but never watched them race.

I’m a good chunk through the race, about halfway through where there’s a very strange crash, followed by yellow flags, followed by many more crashes.

Apparently, there’s also a lot more Andrettis than I thought there were. Not the cars, but actual, human Andrettis.

When your family is based on finishing quickly and consistently I guess you can apply it to things outside racing.

I was at that race and it was a shit show but still great to see all those classic legends. Met John once at a dirt oval race. Really nice guy. RIP
