Driving home so no SR20 I encountered a straightpiped (it was hanging down so clearly no resonator or anything) miata abomination as a wing much like the one below was mounted onto the rear deck.

Needs to be taller to get out of the turbulence.

I once saw someone riding a trike that was made from the engineless frame of a motorcycle welded to the chopped-off front half of what appeared to have maybe once been an early 2000's Civic or Camry, with the car’s tail lights and bumper grafted onto the back . And this whole contraption was painted purple and silver. I remember it appearing to have been done pretty well for such a bizarre and questionable concept... It is by far the most ridiculous vehicle I’ve ever seen in the wild. Sadly, it was gone before I could take a picture of it, but it I still remember it vividly.

I wonder... hmm. That could, PLAUSIBLY, actually reduce drag while towing a full-size 8.5' wide, tall race trailer. Wonder if that works?

I would 100% use that couch/bench/lounger in my living room, but that is not a wing I would put on my car.

I saw this last year. The guy was really proud of it.

The idea behind those is the same as the shrouds on the top of semis to kick the air over a blank face, particularly effective with fifth wheels and goosenecks.

It’s a new Miata-specific latch mechanism for a car seat, because you can’t fit one in the car.

Cool. I was wondering how much they reduce drag.

Yes, and if the owner is who I think it is the wing might be worth more than the miata.

Wow. Yeah, the thing I saw was similar, but with less custom bodywork and the whole front half of a motorcycle rather than just the fork.
