neighbourlady gave me something to help me sleep yesterday (as well as some awesome painkillers) from her mountain of assorted drugs

anyhoo being me i never checked the packaging..just took 2 and went to bed

couldnt sleep for shit.....laser focused on me book tho

sooo i checked the packaging just now....methylphenidate....wait...i know that name

i think the missing h in my add is vitaly important to how that shit works

welp...i have 2 left...i guess they will compensate for the lack of sleep when i start flagging at work later

You really shouldn’t take prescription drugs from your neighbors, or really anyone who isn’t a medical professional.

That R italin could have been blood pressure medicine, or really anything, and 2 pills could have been enough to send you to the ER.

A friend of mine back in the day was diagnosed with ADHD and had a prescription for some sort of heavy duty speed. I don’t remember what it was called. He would hand it out to us on nights when we partied, and we could drink and smoke  all night and howl at the moon and never get tired. Prescription speed is amazing.

At least read the label and do a quick google search, I’d hate to read your post about how you spent a couple of days in the hospital or worse need a liver/kidney transplant because you took some mystery pills. Some of the pills they give out are super serious and can really mess you up.

The most horrifying story for me was the one about the lady taking aspirin and having her skin fall off (like all of it, think mummy/burn victim). It was a very uncommon reaction that was basically like an allergic reaction but it gave me a new perspective on just how dangerous medicine can be.

Yeah....sorry to j ump on the bandwagon against you, but I’m with WRX. I’d hate to see anything happen to you. You’re a cool guy and we’d all miss you terribly on Oppo.

Have you tried simple stuff to help you sleep ? As dumb as it sounds, if I can’t sleep, I keep a playlist of more calm/soothing music (I don’t mean waterfalls or anything like that, just songs that are more mellow) on my MP3 player (yes, I still use one of those) toss in some earbuds and can usually fall asleep focusing on that. :)

anyhoo..i cant sleep coz i cant get my head to shut the fuck up....its especially chatty at night...seeing a doc about that...but so far no real results

i get drowsy just fine...just dont fall asleep...its busy in my head...i tend to not stay asleep either..
