Things are DAMP in BC right now. I’ve been driving all over Vancouver dealing with flooded basements due to a rare “category 4 (??) atmospheric river”.

Ye’, but drizzle is that rain that gets you soaked through, only you don’t notice it at the time.

drizzle is just miserable...proper rain at least makes for a good sleepytime soundtrack..do love me some high winds and rain...thunder if possible

It’s what I’ve got here right now.

I washed Sandy on Thursday, couldn’t top the windscreen washer fluid as the winds were so gusty, opening a car bonnet directly in it’s path would of been madness, then yesterday it was raining and lightly gusty that much I actually waiting until we got down the Shap, where it was nice, dry and calm before putting two litres in.

i did see scotland might be getting some snow (i always laugh when the papers go mental about snowpocalypse in the uk when they actually mean the scottish highlands...and they’re largely not fussed about it)

50/50 on the heavy rain for me tomorow...so far looks like it might just miss my little corner of the country tomorow...but who knows... hope it does tho..planning to ride down to mums..about a 60 km round trip...not something i want to do in the rain lol

The issue isn’t Scotland, it’s usually London and the Midlands.

People laugh because we aren’t as prepared as Dubai for the heat or Norway for the snow. The thing is cost and maintenance we can’t afford to have heated paths just in case it snows everywhere and aircon in every building just in case of a heatwave.

Oh I know it’s just whenever the papers get all excited about snowpocalypse it tends to be rain every where but the Highlands

I wasn't judging lol even a little bit of snow derails this country

We had a wind   storm yesterday, from 10am Friday to 4am today, with gusts up to 40mph. Not fun.

We've got a wind warning in effect. Gusting up to 100 km/h. Last night for some areas they were calling for up to 140 km/h.
