...Motor as a group just decided to stop working, chain snapped, valves went to go hang out with the pistons, one piston didn’t wanna hang out and made a hastly exit through the cylinder wall. Needed to get to them there torque converter bolts, but had no way of spinning the motor. So I decided to just remove the stuff that was holding up operations.

Im not sure on the sequence of events and am no Porsche expert but it all originated from a stuck lifter that flattened a spot on the cam and then he ran into trouble putting everything back together.

...Coworker replaces turbo on 2002 LB7 duramax. It simply broke the shaft and spit the exhaust wheel off, didn’t even smoke when driving it to our shop, so we assumed the intake wasn’t full of oil as even the Y-Bridge looked clean. Welllllll intercooler was full enough for this mfer to take off like a Saturn V after an evening of gas station boner pills.

Engine is actually just fine. Got it all cleaned up, runs better than before. He killed it by shoving a jacket into the air box inlet. I started recording after I attempted to run out the other office door and was greeted by a wall of yellow/orange smoke as if the fkn shop was burning down. I film racing as my side job so I’m always ready to film lol.

I rewired the harness that included the ckp cmp and coil pack connector on an 03 bonneville. It wasnt reading rpm while cranking so I started checking for continuity on the ckp and noticed it was reading flipped on the other end. The silicone seal was pushed in all the way so I couldn’t notice until I pulled it back.
