A bunch of us are going through drafts before Oppo goes away to make sure we’ve got everything we need, so I have to ask: What’s the most cursed thing you’ve seen in your drafts folder?

Kinja lumps all of mine into one unfinished-draft feed, so the one that made me visibly horrified at the screen for a second wasn’t from Oppo . Rather, it was an unpublished pre- write I was putting together before the end of Le Mans in 2016:

Prewriting a little bit is pretty common towards the end of the race so you can hit “publish” as soon as possible after the checkered flag drops, so don’t look at MY cursed draft as being THE cursed draft. Still cursed, though? Yes. That entire ending was absolutely devastating to watch.

Stopping mid-sentence at “Porsche’s number two” was a real stroke of brilliance, though. Huh huh.

Frikken’ all of them. Its a complete crapshoot weather or not any pictures will post, and a solid 75% of my posts just vanish into the ether after hitting publish. Even this morning, my words appeared, but the header and content pictures? no.

I have a lot of cursed drafts where I’ve waited too long to publish and the source link s that I had are no longer good. Unavailable tweets, YouTube vids that got set to private for unknown reasons, etc.. . Of course I know better than to trust a Craigslist ad to stay available, but geez do I gotta screenshot and download everything now ?

This one with a list of wheels from all of the cars I’ve owned that was sitting since 2016. I had a spot for a graph of wheel size vs. time and made the graph then lost the file and now it taunts me in the drafts folder. I keep meaning to finish it but looks like that will never happen now. Part of me wants to download a copy and finish it on the Hyphen but part of me wants to just let it die in the purge so it stops taunting me.
