Trying to push my second post and apparently uploading a bunch of full sized JPEGs (+ 10 MB each) caused the creator studio to have a moment. A bunch of images failed to upload and had to be reloaded.
Still, no worse than kinja! My plan is to evaluate both platforms after giving them a fair shakedown, but the tl;dr is both DT and “The Hyphen” have strengths and weaknesses and both seemingly will make a good new home.

The thought for now is that we’ll likely live on both with a lot of crossposting until we’re able to put together a more polished new ‘home’ while still using DriveTribe for more visibility and recruitment. The audience size is undeniable there.
*A lot of this is in early talks without concrete plans, more like partially formed ideas*

Is there some reason for uploading +10MB photos that will be served as 400kb webm that isn’t openly apparent?
