I read that article earlier. Super interesting stuff. I’m glad drugs are finally being approached in a less heavy-handed way, never would have expected it under the current presidency.

Oh man the last time I ate shrooms my friend and I in college climbed a tree and then couldn’t get down because it was, “moving”. It was outside our dorms and I used my cell to call my other friend to help us.

I never did it college but so wanted to. The biggest influence against doing so was a guy I knew my freshman year in the dorm we were in. We were all doing some pre-partying. Either he had shrooms, acid, or both, but he freaked out so badly that his old dormmates were chasing him around the multilevel dormitory because he was running around on the female floors and scarring the ladies shitless. Somehow they caught him before the campus police showed up. They snuck him out the back door to someone’s house off campus and asked me and another dormmate to make his paraphernalia disappear. There was a neighborhood that wasn’t part of campus on the other side of a fence outside the dorm. So we hopped it looking for the first sewage drain we could find and disposed of it.
I saw that guy one more time sometime after that all happened — must have been a few months later back at the dorms (don’t remember if he withdrew or found a loophole to move off campus as a freshman). He came to apologise to everyone and anyone he knew. That was the last time I saw that guy.

Hmm maybe something else in the mix, my experience was just sitting around and staring at my hand mostly. My friend had a remote control Godzilla that shot sparks out of it’s mouth, that was pretty nuts. We also made our own Absinthe with roman wormwood. That was weird, make things 2D and gave some things a bit of a shine, hard to describe.

TBH they’ re not what I was hoping for. I figured i’d be cured of my existential angst/shit and beginning to love my fellow humans. No dice. I was hyper for about 3 hours after which I crashed, slept, and promptly forgot any brain-training that may have been expected. 3/7 fine but would not try again, even with rice.
