ZR2s on the Moon
Don’t usually make posts, just replies...
Haven’t been around much of late - too many things happening and just needed to step away. Weird coincidence w/Oppo’s demise as I was going to make a one year anniversary post for the ZR2 (bought it 11/8), but I guess I’m saving that for wherever Oppo lands. Bunch of good folks that I hope all land at the new place. Will be nice to chat again. See y’all on the other side.

Drivetribe seems pretty good, but there are certain things that really annoy me about it. The default sort to ‘hot’ and not ‘new’ is a massive PITA every time you go there, for one.
And also, when I open the notifications menu, I cannot right-click and ‘open as new tab’ to each notification I want to deal with. hat REALLY annoys me because I usually do that, right-click-tab open all the things I need to deal with as new tabs and then just close them as I finish them...but with the fact I can only left-click on notifications on DriveTribe, you can only left-click on a thing...deal with it, go back to notifications, left-click on another thing, deal with it, repeat...a lot more time-consuming...

YES! This drives me nuts. Too bad there isn’t a setting for that.

Yup. This is SOP for me on Oppo. If I had a large number of replies, I would go to my Dashboard and opt-click my way through the list. It was a nice way to deal with it. None of these things are insurmountable, though. I think I said to you or somebody yesterday that I can’t figure out the navigation on their mobile app at all. I will probably stick to the web version on mobile

DT looks like a good space. I think I’d have some of the same complaints, especially with the giant photo/layout relative. Gotta get used to new things I guess. Tempted to wait to see where things land, not good at being an early adopter lol. DT certainly looks like the frontrunner though .

While it’s annoying, you can still use a bookmark directly to the “New” posts page which is better than nothing .
