Being a millennial obsessive cord cutter I’m not exposed to too many TV ads in my life. We’ve been tracking election coverage on one of the popular cable channels online via their Roku app.
Of course whenever there are TV ads we get our own version of ads on the online platform - and super sick of seeing the EXACT same 8 ads for the last 3 days in a row. LITERALLY. Wouldn’t it be pretty easy (and be more meaningful) for them to switch it up???
But today, TODAY, there has been a change. Hallelujah! And this one made me actually laugh out loud. I have no idea who this Hamlin guy is as I don’t follow NASCAR but the interaction between him and the kid in the minivan at the end is classic. Check it out -
