I like how they point out the jack points, because any other location you will bend the car. I use the frame rails or the rear dif.

The porsche has more power but the Datsun was being driven much better. My dad’s car with 350 hp would have been hitting 200 kph+ on those straights.

I saw my dream Z32 a few months ago, a 2+2 in Black Emerald Pearl over a tan interior on the stock 5-spoke wheels.

^ Not the one I saw; this is a 2+0 but the same color.

I’m 50/50 between my next car being a Z32 or a Fiero. Both are simultaneously great and terrible and I can’t decide.

As much as I like the Z32 I understand they are a nightmare to work on. The engine bay is a complex puzzle and extremely tight, they are however extremely well made being peak Japan technology. I think I would be more willing to take on a JDM Nissan Skyline or GTR.

That one is a first-gen Nissan Cherry - the F-10 that was sold in North America was the second-gen Cherry. Both were available as ordinary sedans as well.

Thanks, im proud of how it turned out..

I think you called it about questioning the mechanicals of it, currently its sitting in the coastal elements in non running condition because of ancient carbs on the wrong engine with potentially bad compression.

The mechanicals are easy compared to body work, you can rebuild one of these engines fairly quickly. My guess is all it needs is rings and check the valve seals, then figure out the carb situation, the easy button is two down draft 2 bbl holly’s, use an electric fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator. It’s odd it has carbs as the FI on these is pretty good and simple to maintain.
