When (A) my income increases substantially or ( B) these things drop down to 100 Series prices, I’m getting one. I have a feeling both of those things will happen together. I just can’t justify spending $20,000+ on an old SUV with 200k miles. These guys convinced me the only color I want is white so I can incorporate the red, orange and yellow livery on it somewhere.

Given the doom asteroid over our heads are you backing up your old posts that explained things like 4WD vs AWD systems and the whatnot? I’d love to get a pdf copy of those. Besides some minor editing they could be in magazines. They were great.
Also, m aybe you know this given your Jeep knowledges. I’ve had middling search results around the internet. I have an 88' AMC Eagle, any idea which manual transmissions could be direct bolt on replacements for my 3 speed s l u s h box? BUT would still let me use the sweet on the fly transfer- c ase? That’s where I get stuck. I’d like to keep that little gizmo. I might eventually make the switch operate an electric solenoid instead of the air . But that’s future problems.
