He just said the Democrats must think he’s stupid, trying to count mail in ballots “that could have come from Mars, or Canada, or could simply be one person who sent in 100,000 votes”
Yes, Rudy, you probably have a few screws loose if you think there’s people on MARS casting votes, or that thousands of Canadia ns would sne ak across the border and impersonate Americans just to vote. Or that the post office wouldn’t notice a guy dropping off 100,000 ballot envelopes.. . smh
I used to look up to the guy, he used to be a contender, a hero even, but they say you shoul d never meet your heros in person and evidently you shouldn’t let them grow old, either.

It’s such nonsense. These things are tracked so they can’t be duplicated. And being able to send them in from places like Canada is how absentee ballots work (that’s the whole absentee thing!)

Rudy is so far out there but now I need to get some panettone. My dog tried to eat last year's on the drive to my parents for Christmas. Barely got it away from her I'm time.

Rudy is certainly a nutjob. However, outside
of suggesting Martian meddling and exaggerating
numbers
he’s not too far off on this one.
The process to fudge mail in ballots varies by state. In PA, noted battleground state, you can get a list of the registered voters for the entire state for $20. The voter list includes juicy info such as last time voted. So, you can target people that haven’t voted for several years. Also, signatures on ballots don’t need to match.
If I were to fudge ballots, I’d spend the $20 to get the voter records
, register myself and a friend for mail in ballots to figure out what they look like and see if there is anything unique
, then get copying /
printing and forging fake ones
.
You could use public mail
boxes to send
them. There were millions of mail in
votes in the state, would it be out of line for a mail man
to find 5 or 10 in a public mailbox? Perhaps 3 one day and 7 the next then none then 2?
A few people could generate thousands of forged ballots if they were so inclined, for little more than printing costs and time spent, including
driving to mailboxes
. And $20 to get the voter list.

A good rule of thumb is that if it had to be put in a box then it isn’t as fresh as advertised.

Yes, someone could do that, however, get caught, and it’s a pretty stiff penalty for, maybe, just possibly, but probably not, changing an election outcome.
“ A person shall be guilty of a felony of the third degree, and, upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to pay a fine not exceeding fifteen thousand ($15,000) dollars, or to undergo an imprisonment of not more than seven (7) years, or both, in the discretion of the court.”

To
be more accurate
, more than
half the country DIDNT VOTE. The last election, 1 in 6 voted for the P
resident. 5 in 6 voted for somebody else or not at all .
This one, with record turnout, it’s closer to 1 in 4 that will vote for the winner, 1 in 4 for the Other Guy and half didn't vote at all.

A someone who ran a mail house for nearly a decade, I can tell you that a bulk mail unit wouldn’t notice shit. Sketchy mail houses rip off the USPS all the time by sneaking mail in. A 100k pieces isn’t a whole lot of mail. We were a small-medium operation and had multiple 50-100k piece mailers every month. The bigger guys do that multiple times a day. During election and holiday season it is even crazier.
I once showed up to a mailer that was being raided by our sheriffs department. They did mailers for Wells Fargo and had been stealing identities en mass . Someone with experience could easily get fake ballots past the USPS, but I’d think the county elections office would notice.

B ut unless there’s legit evidence anything of the sort has taken place , it is just more right wing conspiracy theory trash being peddled by someone who married his second cousin.
Maybe PA should just leave the battleground and get some sense.

Tens of millions upon tens of millions of “people” who made the choice because they think it will help their wallet, out of “socialism” fears, because they secretly or otherwise embrace white nationalism, want to lick the boots of a fake strongman, or just to screw over others. Gotta own the libs by hurting your own well being.

Not sure the inept American excuse for the left ever made an official claim of that type in the last go round, aside from regarding the rightist hallmarks of voter suppression and maybe gerrymandering. A certain corrupt pseudo-strongman and his fascist pals are doing it now though.
