One of the kids on my boys flag football team tested positive I found out yesterday about 5pm, s o we are all back at home today. No symptoms for anyone.

We are planning to get tested tomorrow, which will be 5 days from the exposure. Either way the boys can’t go back to school for 14 days.

It does throw off the somewhat stable routine my wife and girls (6th and 8th grade) had working at home, since I was going into the office and my boys were back in person.

Mostly this morning had been ok, up until 10 minutes ago when one of the boys is in music (sounds like he is strangling a cat), and my 6th grader is in guitar. Bose does not account for this scenario when designing the noise canceling technology.

Maxyenko sticker of my E28 o n my favorite coffee tumbler for your time.

Have a little moment when WTI dropped to $35 earlier this week?

Hopefully nat gas can stay above $3.

Not really. I expect it to continue to be volatile until there is a widespread vaccine. Most demand is creeping close to pre-COVID levels with the major exception of jet, but refiners are getting better at adjusting the mix. Distillate inventories were down again this week overall.

I do not miss worrying about that.

New European shutdowns aren’t great, but I guess they’re less restrictive than the first pass.

The holiday travel season should be quite a bit more muted than in years past.

Your thoughts on what a Biden administration would mean for the industry in the next few years?

Well, clearly fracking is in his sights, but I think the extent of any “ban” would be on federal lands. There will probably be increased renewable fuel focus, and the Small Refinery Exemptions from RFS will go away. That will put a lot of pressure on the refining side.

But overall I don’t think he will have a material impact on demand in the next few years.

Assuming he wins, w ill be interesting to see if he steps down after 4 years instead of running for reelection. If the latter, with Kamala as the heir apparent, that’s a new ballgame. She seems very committed to keeping as many hydrocarbons as possible in the ground, but a president alone can only do so much.

Agree.  Though it seems like we are still a day or so away from knowing.

I thought Nevada was going to call it in a couple hours. We’ll see how it shakes out!
