I wonder if they have to give it back. Not that Merc has anything to learn from Ferrari!

Poor Bottas!  He’s not on Hamilton’s level of course, but it’s got to be maddening when every small bounce goes his way and against you.  The stuff that will haunt somebody for decades.  If only......

It seems pretty clear that the team are favoring Lewis. How many times has Valteri asked for a different strategy only to be told he has to do what Lewis is doing? How many times do the calls for a change in strategy seem to help Lewis? I get it, he’s the hot hand, and I know how teams in F1 work. But it does seem like Lewis gets the prime cuts all the time.

Absolutely. Which leaves Bottas relying on random events . Like not hitting debris or Lewis getting the absolute most perfect VSC ever deployed! I feel for the guy. Even though Max had a failure, imagine if Lewis came out right by him (or, ideally, behind him). Could have made for a few fun laps at least.

It’s a maddening spot to be in I bet. Likely frustrated and taking a mental toll, but also in the second best seat in F1 with pretty much everybody in the world ( other than Lewis) wanting it .
