In the U.K., would a “frunk” be referred to as a “Foot”?

No, because a foot goes inside a boot. This would be the glove.

Seems to me that c alling it a “frunk” (front trunk) would constitut e a confirmation/ admission that trunk is indeed the proper term for the rear version.
