I did have 10,000 photos of Vin numbers, Dashboards, and wiring spaghetti nightmares. But after deleting thousands and thousands of photos, they’re still telling me my photos, drive and Gmail are all full. My E mail is cut off. Does this take a couple days to fix itself? or am I just going to have to pay them to get my Emails coming in again?

I recently paid at 98% full. I probably just should have moved my photos since I have Amazon Prime’s free photo storage and 5TB from my parents’ shared Office365 subscription. Ultimately though, paying $20/year for 100GB was more efficient for me than spending time figuring out what to delete.
No idea how long it should take for deletions to register, though I’d think it would be quick. Maybe deleting moves things to a trash folder that still counts, and you need to delete from there in order to make room?

No, but at this point I’ve accumulated 7 separate gmail addresses/accounts in order to store shit I can’t be bothered to triage.
I’m not a hoarder in meatspace, though.

You have to also delete stuff from the recycling bin in order for the space to free up. At least on Gmail. It does sound feasible for it to somehow lag and only realize it’s not full after a day. However, email delivery will probably resume immediately.

NAS = Networked Attached Storage
Say something like this:

Of course that’s $160 without drives, even if you had one (I have one from a different brand), you’d still probably want cloud backup from someone. It would let you store those photos and videos rather than just deleting them.

I had the same happen. They got my money once. I’m trying to move off of Google products in the next year because it’s 100% bullshit. Collect my personal data AND charge me for the privilege ? Bit e me.

You empty the trash/deleted items? Still counts against ya until you remove em from there.

That may be overkill, but it will certainly help you avoid running out of space.

There is no overkill in NAS; only not enough
