Well, we know symptoms exhibit at least a week after you’re contagious, so clearly he didn’t suddenly have it on Saturday.

ESPN was reported he wasn’t feeling well all week but was only tested on the previous Tuesday. So that’s a bit of time feeling sick till you test again sat morning.

If you test negative Tuesday, given the long window between infection and symptoms I wouldn’t think if I felt a little under the weather the rest of the week that I was positive either.
