I've got no clue. It's definitely for attaching something to something. That much I'm sure of.

They are typically used for building a deck. Just throw it in the street

Is it a deck screw that bores its own countersink so you can tap a plug into the hole for a “hidden fastener system”? Neighbours built a front deck with something similar but not these exactly.

hmm maybe like one of those ikea fasteners where you screw it into part A all the way until the threads change, then you screw part B onto it? Heads bigger than the threads though so that cant be right.

Is the whole package like that or just the one?

Pls no. Did a $300 consulting gig, ran over a screw in front of the house. Had to replace a $400 tire:(

I only found the one, but Dash seems to know what it is and it makes sense now.

No, it’s literally for building a deck. That’s a deck screw, you screw it in, then it gets to whatever board is below, and the board on top that you went through first gets squeezed down onto the one below. They come in different lengths for different board thicknesses.

Hidden deck screw or finishing screw.

Reverse threads help the small screw head grab on to material to help prevent pulling through .

I built a deck using that type of screw for the decking, it was a pretty cool setup, and help prevented slivers from popping up because of the screw heads.

T hese are designed to really fuck your tires when they fall out of a contractor’s truck on the road, hope you never see one again.

This is what tire dealers spread like Johnny Apple Seed all over the country. You plant it in your tire and in a few minutes or less, it sprouts wonderful air. Try it, I have.
