I wonder how many of those vehicles are still exist today.

Looks like the transporter is moving used cars as the transporter (L reg) i tself is four years newer than the the front car (G reg) it’s transporting.

Good point and the Rover 25 below it means it can’t be from any earlier than 1999.

So in that case, there is every likelihood of at least one vehicle still being around. Lol.

Must be some classic car nut moving his whole collection via a different classic truck nut’s (hehe) transporter as the silver hatchback in the background breaks the immersion.

Are you aware of the website: “How Many Left” ?

There are at least 75 Wolesley 1300s left on the road, with the numbers increasing in recent years.

I am.

I keep forgetting where I saved the link.

I’ve so many links, I’ve at least 20 for car cleaning product websites.

But I was meaning those ones on the transporter (granted, being only able to see two licence plates means it’s hard to know which of the others are scrapped, unregistered, SORN, taxed, etc...).

If I spent the time and reverse image searched, then cross checked other photographers photos, etc... I dare say I could track a few plates.

Same truck, different load.

Always wanted to restore an old car carrier truck like that, loaded up with other restored classic cars. That’d be the ultimate “time machine” vehicle!

Since this is a relatively new photo, I think that it is high ly likely that these cars are still in existence (wither on the road or being restored).
