OPPOsaurus #3 hasn’ t been feeling well. My wife took him to the doctors and they said he needed a COVID test. We just found out he is negative. We had no reason to suspect thats what it was but it still kind of sux having to wait 4 days for a result.
have the best dodge ever.

I took a rapid test, and got results in four hours (urgent care place said I should get them within two hours). Unfortunately, the rapid tests are less accurate than the regular ones (which aren’t perfect themselves). Of course it should be the case that labs don’t get paid for tests that take more than 48 hours. The tests themselves don’t take anywhere near that long, they are just agreeing to process more tests than they actually can.

being a little guy I think they may do it different for them. I think they swabbed his throat as opposed to the poke- the- brain-with-a-long-stick method. How was yours done?

Brain poke here. In theory I think they are supposed to just be able to do a nose swab now, but either that guidance hadn’t reached these people yet, or this was the nose swab, and the brain poke was worse before. Wasn’t a ton of fun. I wouldn’t say it hurt, but it did leave my eyes watering.

We had Bacon bit #1 tested (twice, about two months apart). Not times it was just a throat swap, and that was challenging enough.

Not sure, maybe just a cold. He does have a nasty cough but that's about it at this point
