I’m selling my old snow tires. I would have run these another year but I got a complete set of wheels and tires a few weeks ago.
Here is where selling things online get interesting... I’d be happy with $50 but if someone tire shopping sees that I don’t value my goods then maybe they won’t think they are worth the trouble. So I have them listed for $120, which I think is still fair given these have another winter+summer wear them to the cords left in them.

The number of people trying to sell 1-3 tires is astounding. And old tires, I see 20 year old tire s all the time.

I could see selling 1 tire if it’s an unused (or lightly used) spare...but who aside from a few of us traditional SUV fans have full-sized spares? #sadtrombone

My parents moved south this summer and so got rid of their s. Possibly I should have taken their 215/55R16 snow tires (I use 205/55R16, but I believe they’d fit without rubbing), but I didn’t want to store them and the steelies they were on appeared to have come out of the ocean (18 years in salt country will do that), and one of them didn’t match. Hopefully my all seasons will get me through the winter, and then if I get a new car next year, I can get snow tires for that.
In any event, they had a hard time giving them away, but eventually they found someone interested in both sets of tires, rusty wheels included.

I wouldn’t put an oversized tire on my car. There are enough Subaru Outbacks in my area I don’t think I’ll have trouble selling them.

I sold my snows from the crown vic last fall, listed
the morning before the first forecast big snow storm. They went quick at asking price.
