Today was the Fort Langley Oppo meet and, despite some Vancity Oppos not being able to make it, we had a good turn out. If you couldn’t make it, no worries. Who knows, we may have more down the road... but with the weather changing and COVID, we’ll play it by ear

(Honda CBR), !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! (1 series) and !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! (Fiesta ST). We also had a couple of Simon’s friends with the GTI and Type R.

We drove for around 3 hours, around Fort Langley, then to Abbotsford and Mission where we drove the dams. It was a blast! Good to see those I’ve met and meet those I hadn’t!

Well, I now know what I need to do to make it a bit better as I haven’t done anything similar before today. So it was a good learning experience for me as well. Which I will take as a massive win.

Looks like you guys had a great time! I wish I could have been there.

I got up this morning knowing I had to do some double checks because of the overheating issues I’ve had with the Roadster all season. I’ve only burnt $20 bucks worth of fuel all spring/summer.   When I checked the coolant, the reservoir was completely full and the rad was down a good litre or so. By the time I grabbed a new rad cap, it was 12:30 and knew I wouldn’t make the meet. Looking forward to the next one!

Good news though, looks like my cooling issues may not be a head gasket like I thought...I drove it around for a good hour or so and the temps stayed rock solid. I bought a NOS cap last year and I’m guessing that was the source of my problems.

As always, thanks for setting the shindig up. Good to get out and meet some new people, especially this year. It was a pleasure meeting you al l and seeing you again .

Must be nice to be in a responsible country where it's safer to do things with people! Looking forward to the end of this someday when I can go back to BC, had a blast up there.

God I miss not going to these. I can’t wait till we have open borders and I have t o come up with personal excuses for not being able to attend.

It was spirited. Zenith had the Trailblazer behind me for the first 1/2 in FL and was never far behind on the turn and burns. It got a tad hot though.

I’ve only ripped those areas twice so I was unfamiliar. I was comfy with the corner speeds. I did the odd hang off  but no peg or slider scrapes.

We travel at a decent clip. A larger pack is a little harder, and we did get separated a couple times.

I'd say above the limit, but not by too much.  A lot of the roads were very twisty

Ha! I think the fact that we live in a saltless area helps a lot.  That and 2 of the cars were very new
