My brother and sister in law just replaced thier 2011 Nissan Versa hatch with a Ko na Electric. They love it. I haven’t driven it yet, but we love our 1.6t AWD Limited, it’s got really good dynamics. Like surprisingly good.

Nice! Yeah, I have been reading your posts about the petrol powered Kona, and I am glad to hear you are enjoying it . It seems like the Mercedes GLA and the Hyundai Kona are both in a new category of “hot hatches that are marketed as SUVs.” Sort of like the original Subaru Outback and Volvo V70 XC, but smaller and more nimble.
It works for me. If presenting it as an SUV is what it takes to build fun cars, that’s fine by me!
On a related note, I am looking forward to seeing the VW id4 launch in the US. I think it might turn out to be similar to the Kona Electric, but slightly more plush and with RWD.
