Wow. Not a single one of these cars would be driven around here except by someone in, erm, dire straits of some kind.

So refreshing to see them owned — and cared for — on a voluntary, motivated basis.

Just like the late 80s Cavalier Z28 convertible I saw at church the other day. An elderly guy...what I like to call “an accidental enthusiast”

All-Trac and Legacy appear to have the same roof rack.

GL “Special Edition” appears really clean for one these days.  Not sure how to date these, but appears 1986-89 or so.

I’d pick the Outback because around here that would be the only one of them that wasn’t 75% rust.

If rust is not considered, I’d probably also go with the Alltrac. My sister had a GL  years ago and it was a dog.

I’ve seen quite a few cars whose relationship would fall into that category; some are less likely than others, like the multiple (!) p ristine Geo Prizms I’ve seen, or that one Yugo that looked assembly line clean.

I’ll take the Subaru GL that inverts itself when you click on it.

About 10 years ago when every elderly person still had a Panther platform of some kind, I kept hearing stories about their cars going up in value — a lot of it was driven by donk culture. The rare modern(ish) car that can take a frame lift to fit 26" wheels underneath.

Is that an Outback with Legacy badges or a Legacy that's been lifted to Outback height?
