Actually, I’m not even taki ng the mickey. Adding “ beyond the limit” recovery to vehicle stability control could be genuinely lifesaving well before “proper” driverless cars are viable.

Good to see Stanford have a sense of humo r in their vehicle selection, too.

Yup, I certainly looked at the PhD student who opens the behind the scenes video and thought “ you lucky bastard” - not only because that looks like a hellafun PhD but also because there’s clearly cash to burn.

Silicon Valley money is a wonderful thing...
