Senna diagnosis: knows me quite well, has excellent taste.
The copy of Gallery 5 is particularly timely, because my copy is falling apart. I’ve also been doing a bunch of reading on polar and northwest passage expeditions, but had forgotten Palin’s Erebus existed.
Highlights of the books: “This could be the chief”, “Todd’s stomach vs. Todd’s imagination”, and some very nice color plates.
Action shot of Rover and Ford on reproduction Winchester shotgun:
I had just been breaking it in.
Other action shot of Ford with 1:35 scale light tank, pewter gnome mini, and .45 cartridge for scale:
The Ford is actually painted like one belonging to a lady I know, though her ‘57 is a Crown Victoria deluxe tu dor sedan , not a 500 Victoria Hardtop.
Anyway, many thanks to the Terrance and/or Philip responsible.

Clearly, you are a man who has his priorities in order.
Did you see my post about the P1000 code on the Vic?

I like to think I do, somewhat. On the p1000 post, the clearing instructions actually sound like you would need a scan tool connected while completing the cycle to confirm steps are completed, so I would suspect a scan tool staying connected through the cycle might actually be required. In other words, it may only clear "by itself" when being tested - I.e. not by itself.

Yeah. I spoke with the service writer woman (!) at the local Ford dealership and she opined that there was a good chance that the monitor would clear eventually during normal driving, which would be fine with me because there’s no CEL associated with this code, but I need to get the car smogged in order to register it and it’s had a fair amount of driving and cycles already. There’s a message that I receive on Torque about clearing by the ECU after “N” cycles...
