So uh......Thanks to everyone who helped me figure out my hard drive adapter problem the other night. Really appreciate it. Means a lot ot have so many people trying to help. Unfortunately, sometimes you need to help yourself, and I forgot to check one of the other pockets in the carrying bag the laptop came in.

Yes, I did in fact buy a laptop in a carrying bag with extra pockets and then didn’t check any of the other pockets.

I found, in no particular order....
-The HDD adapter
-The HDD caddy
-Extra screws for assembly
-Thermal paste
-Two sticks of RAM (same size as what’s in the machine)
-A micro screw driver for disassembly of the machine

All of which I missed, and only noticed after paying about 15$ for some random adapters to try.

As far as lessons go, that's a pretty cheap one.  Who knows, the adapters might come in handy later.

Yeah it isn't a big deal at all, just a really amateur hour mistake considering this isn't my first go around at restoring or upgrading laptops.
