That one is an Otamatone Melody. It plays tunes rather than being played as a synth, though you can still manipulate the mouth to make it “expressive”.

Yes, it was me. I started looking for a bugeye r/c car but pretty much couldn’t find one, so I ordered the other and one that was correct in “cute” form. :D

The otamatone is just for extra perversity.

I knew if “drift” wasn’t what you’d be looking for, at least “subie” would be. And the advantage of having any kind of driftable r/c car if things ice over is that drift can turn into rally easily outside . My brother had a radio shack r/c car we ran around on an iced-over above ground pool a bunch back in the day.
