Hail is scary. The most I’ve ever encountered personally was “pea-sized” hail, which wasn’t enough to dent my car.

A friend of mine asked me to help him cover his car while during a hail storm. I wasn’t too keen on that idea, so he ran out with a blanket, tossed it onto the hood, then immediately ran back into the garage. His yelps of pain as he was hit by the hail were comical.

It was all wasted effort. The hail wasn’t big enough to hurt the car.
