Yeah they’re cool!

May be the best British car ever sold here. It’s the Mini Cooper Done Right :o)

I like these too.

This is another reminder the new Fit needs an SI version.

This is one of those cars I’ve always wanted, but not been able to find while I was actually shopping. And now most of them have way over 200,000 miles, are beat to piss, or riced out, sometimes all three.

But they are the last “old school” Honda so I should probably buy one before they get into collector territory and end up being 15k for a clean one.

From my understanding this engine was actually tuned with torque in mind, but no LSD so still not a reeeeeeeeaaal Si. Still cooler than a regular econobox though

The $2500 NIssan 240sx convertible is still for sale too. Looks to be in excellent shape.

I own one of these! It’s my daily. Has over 210k miles on it but was super well maintained throughout it’s life so far and still bone stock. Every thing stated in the comments is completely true though. This thing is slow as hell and lacks torque throughout the entire range until you hit about 4.5k, which is when the fuel injection part of i VTEC actually kicks in. That said, if you don’t mind a somewhat tall ride height (DON’T LOWER THESE THINGS, the suspension geometry   wasn’t designed for it) and being the last one off the l ine at a stoplight 100% of the time, this car is sooooo much fun to drive. The center mounted shifter has spoiled me to the point where I miss it every single time I drive any manual car without it. Good car! Needs the Type S engine and more conventional steering rack (for properly running coils without ruining the car ) and it would be   perfect.

I always loved the shifter placement in these; and the  cupholder directly to the left of the steering wheel. I’ve never seen that on any other car. Kinda slow for an Si model, though. My friend had one, and I could smoke him from a dig or from a pull with my stock ‘04 Tiburon GTV6.

Still, it’s a pretty unique car.

Ummm... They were disappointing ugly mini-minivans without a full vtec head and horrible shifter.

It was Hondas answer to demands for a new hatch and it failed miserably. The 8th gen Euro hatch was damn sexy though :/

Actually they have pretty good torque, they just don’t have top end power. This was the 160 hp 2 liter and was tuned for torque if you can believe that, it just ran out of RPM at about 6200......
