Last year, I bought the cheapest 6-cylinder E60 5 Series in Scotland. I've just put it for sale.

Its not the cheapest any more, though its not too far off. Any Oppo’s in Scotland interested? Here’s the ad if you are:

Selling because of your move I presume? Any word on a North-American-side-o’-the-pond replacement yet? :)

Yes. As for the replacement, I found a 2000 Camaro SS, with the LS1 engine, manual trans, and some clearcoat left on the body for just under $4k. Can’t buy anything until the E60's sold though unfortunately.

Now go find the cheapest E60 M5 and do it all over again!

Can’t quite afford an M5. I’ve found a few 545i’s I’m tempted by though.

Nothing screams "buy me!" more than photos of your car taken in a muddy pit.

Glad you’re willing to admit that. The worst thing you can do is jump into the M5 when you can’t afford it. It will body slam your bank account if you don’t keep it under a watchful eye.

Not bad! Will certainly be an antithesis to what you are used to in the UK! :P
