Well, mostly. Gave it a quick spongebath with some car soap and now I don’t feel like I need a shower every time I touch the thing.
Unf ortunately I accidentally damaged a fuel valve while cleaning and caused a leak. Ha d to siphon out the fuel in the tank and then removed it entirely.
The valve seems specific to the unknown bike that the tank came off (has an integrated pickup /filter that extends up in to the tank) of so I’ve ordered the proper stock tank and now I can’t attemp t to run it until that gets here.
I kinda like the vintage seafoam color, I think I’ll keep that for the frame and make every part that’s currently pink either c ream or black, and then whatever fairing I eventually pick up will be crea .
