A 1971 Dodge with a 318 and an 18’ Balboa fiberglass body. $8500, which is more than I’ve ever wanted to spend on a little camper, but these are rare, one piece so it’s very uncommon for them to leak, and have nice layouts. The interiors also look nicer than comparable Chinooks. Maybe I’ll go check it out if it’s still for sale after I’ve sold the Subaru, not that I’ve even started that process...

My knee jerk reaction was to
worry for that poor little
318,
but be
ing a ‘
71 and fiberglass it
may
be alright.

My grandmother’s neighbor had an old Voyager for the longest time. I always thought it was neat.

Being a ‘71, it should be fairly unrestricted, so I imagine it would do just fine. Though the fuel e conomy might be terrifying

Put a 440 in it and do camper burnouts.

Paul, the founder of Curbside Classic, seems to have gotten 11 mpg U.S. with his similar 360-powered Chinook .
