The Challenger Scat Pack in F8 Green, even though I’m not a Dodge fan, would be wicked to own as a summer car.

It would be an even better summer car if they'd JUST MAKE A GODDAMN CONVERTIBLE

Wouldn't a convertible fix that?

Too far in the opposite direction, most likely.

I passed a Challenger today and said: I still love those.
It’s one of those designs that they got right from the beginning and then knew better than t o screw up (I'm looking at you, Camaro).

It’s... always... been...
TOO DAMN BIG.
It should have been 20% smaller. They’re enormous compared to the originals!!!

Everything is enormous compared to how it used to be.

Its a Dodge Challenger, but it feels more like a modernised 1969 Chevy Impala. That’s why people love them.

More like 5-6% too big; but I agree. If this were Camaro/mustang sized; or god forbid ever so slightly smaller; I would find it very tempting. These look so freaking cool even after all this time.

No choice with modern requirements, everything is bigger.
But it’s not necessary a negative, modern cars are so much safer, faster, comfortable and fuel efficient compared to previous era cars.

The Camaro’s issue was not going far enough from the 5th, each gen was wildly different. So now it feels like a 5.5 gen

A friend of mine and his sons just completed a 400 mile trip on their motorcycles . He said the one thing they forgot was sunscreen. They had to stop an buy some to protect their rapidly reddening skin.

I know some like to complain about the Challenger being WAY overdue for a new generation, but TBH I have NOT grown tired of this one.

But you know what’s cool about being too damn big? 6’4” me fits in the back seat. And my son’s goalie gear ALL fits in the trunk. Yet, I still don’t have one.

It is overdue, but it was kind of born that way. That’s why it’s not that urgent. It’s kind of the last true muscle car left.

I wish my third car budget would allow for it. There are too many cheap cars I need to play with first.

I like the Challenger a lot , but hope FCA can manage to pull a few hundred pounds out of the next one for 2021 .
