I’ve got a few of Moti’s parts on my car, but the rollbar is the main one. Probably the nicest thing on the car, in terms of craftsmanship. Every weld is beautiful. Holes line up perfectly. Finish is immaculate, and clearance is unbeatable, being compatible with every top ever offered by Mazda on both NA and NB Miatas. It’s strong too— as some forum crash threads can attest to—and a separate harness bar is unnecessary as it's part of the GT3 bar.
Blackbird Fabworx has also done quite a bit of custom work for various race cars...
If you’re at work and don’t want to be caught looking at p*rn, turn back now. You’ve been warned.
Oh, right. I’m trying to sell this car :(
The guy who came by at 5am yesterday loved it, but understandably wants to test drive it when it’s not pouring and dark.

I stopped responding to my serious buyer because I didn’t really like him.
That's where my motivation level to sell is currently at.

Between this and the Sunchaser, Oppo is becoming a celebrity car site

Tomorrow its getting... well... well see how much I get done... but the current list is timing belt, water pump, serpentine belt, right motor mount, front struts, and rear shocks.
Its a 96 with only 165k on the clock. Really the only thing I strongly dislike about it is that its an automatic.

Yep. Sounds like Volvo ownership!
I still miss my 850 and V70 every day, but good God. I couldn't afford to keep 'em!

Why are you selling the Miata? Just not enough parking spaces?

I keep selling Toyotas for very reasonable prices to the first person who picks up the phone, asks me polite, reasonable questions, and shows up at the appointed time and place . I keep ghosting the majority of people who communicate only by extremely vague or scripted emails and texts . Some of the latter people could probably have gotten as good or better a deal than they demanded by rude email had they expressed any actual interest in the specific vehicle for sale . Imagine that.

think the trick is just to never do maintenance. This one certainly hasn’t had anything done othet than oil changes. Well except for the one timing belt 92k miles/13 years ago.

Ha! I’m down to a single car. No, I want to try motorcycle commuting for awhile . And selling the Miata will clear the way for a land cruiser or similar in 2020

It's amazing how many people don't understand the concept of being a decent person, especially when trying to get something from someone else
