Behold the shitjob of JB Weld applied haphazardly to cover the hole in the garbage disposal from last night.
It’s really hard trying to reach around the backside with a mirror in one hand and a spatula with JB Weld ready to set in less than 3 minutes in the other.
Can't wait to test it out tonight.

Your garbage disposal has employed you to build it a chrysalis. It is transforming into a beautiful butterfly

Oh yeah, but installing it will take time and patience which I normally don't have during the week. I don't even need to turn it on right now. I just want to be able to not have water spraying out of it until I replace it.

If you have a Costco near you, they have a disposal, 1.25HP with a 10 year warranty, on sale for $80:
https://www.costco.com/American-Standard-1.25-HP-Food-Waste-Disposer.product.100247195.html
This is better power than you can get from Home Depot or Lowes, at a much better price, with a better warranty.
