Yesterday, I happened upon Eilean D on an castle. There was a contingent of classic Volvos doing the Coastal 500 that came into the car park so I was able to snap a few pictures before they took off. It’s probably one of the most picturesque castles in Scotland. It was rebuilt in the early 1900s by one of the descendants of the castle. There were some sections remaining when he started, but had been blown to bits by 2 gunships during the Jacobite Uprising.

Whoa. Never realized how good those cars look in red. Most of ‘em I see anymore are in muted colors but that’s nice to see a cherry-pop red really pop on it.
