No chicken strips to be found... I could seriously watch that all day.

Nice run! It's been over 7 years since I've been down there on one of the bikes, but man I need head back. That whole region is a rider's paradise.

Wow - awesome that you got an uninterrupted run, and that the Slingshot driver was good enough to let you two go by.

Looks like your friend is occasionally body-over-the center-stripe, though his tires are not. Stuff like that really scares me when I’m confronted with it coming the other direction at speed in the twisty stuff - your thoughts?

its an intresting angle as you can see the front suspension doing its thing and the wheel turning.

I have another video on my channel from this angle but with erm...significantly less legal passing. and whoolies.

Nice! I will be checking that out... later, after work. Because I won’t get anything done otherwise.

that wasnt the full run, it started about 1/2 way.

friend is a local there, and he knows he isnt the best at BP, but i trust his lines WAY more then my own.

So, that actually happened during the week. Came around the corner and there was a giant Blue H-D in my lane.

I had enough ‘reserve’ handling to throw the bike lower and avoid him, but it was certianly a code-brown moment, and led to me stopping me run, turning around and having a little chat with the fuckwit gentleman.

It is a danger, just like any other road. I tend to keep my lines slightly tighter then most so I have some play with speed/angle left.

Shiiit. Glad you’re okay, and that you went and gave him a piece of your mind. Could’ve kill a lesser, or more aggressive rider.

We push hard when we go out (cars, not bikes) , but we do not mess around with the center line.

I want to say I dont mess with the center...but I have plenty of (SAFE) passes over it be people who are obilivious, stupid, or just plain assholes.

I think I have the video of it too. Its an awesome angle (same mount as this vid, but pointed backwards so you can see footwork/knee dragging)

but I’m not sure if i reall y should publish it.

Okay, yes - if there’s room to pass (even it’s a double yellow), I’ll make a pass (and have the power to do so rapidly and safely).

Hmm... could post as “private” so only people with the link can view it.

Well, you can rest easy in the fact that you may have actually saved that guy’s life (and others), assuming he actually has the capacity to learn from his mistakes.
