I turn the magical 27 today. Nothing special really. Missus is taking me out somewhere tonight. Won’t tell me where.

Today is Constitution Day as well. The date when the Constitution was signed sealed and de livered back in 178 7. I consider this the real birth of the US of A

I celebrate September 3rd, the date that the Kingdom of Great Britain recognized the independence of the United States and our war of independence officially ended. Until then, we were still a bunch of colonies as far as pretty much everyone other than France, and maybe the Netherlands, were concerned.
