...w ill be the true K ing of Speed. Yeah, sure Bugatti and Koenigsegg can come close, but that H2R alone has gone Veyron in less than 30 seconds.

So it’s my understanding a lot of what limits those speeds is the tires. Do superbikes have an advantage because it’s a ~400lb (+200lbs driver) bike on two wheels versus a 4400lbs Chiron on 4 wheels?

Those are both limiting factors but in different ways. Think of it this way: all tires have speed ratings. Above those ratings they get sketchy and could possibly fail. Making tires rated for 500km/hr will be very expensive and difficult. Not something you can just pick up or order online.
