on my old computer I would accidentally hit F1 when trying to hit the escape key so i eventually took the F1 key off the keyboard. I wish I could do that with the Jez link

While I see others liked it, I did not. Every time I moved my cursor up to the Oppo in the top left corner to refresh, I would overshoot and activate the bar, which would then cover up the Oppo logo. I had to mouse down, then go back up more carefully.

I get a very primitive version of Kinja here in Mexico. Some committee probably thinks that we don’t have the disposable income to deserve ads, or we don’t count for monthly pageviews so they don’t try to take us to Jezebel or whatever

Extremely same. I may still occasionally visit the homepages of one or two of them , but the drop-down previews drew me to at least a few articles per day that I would never otherwise have found, and now never will.

I hope so. I hate that I can’t click on the tab to open Oppo and then click the logo to refresh the page because the whole header is obscured with previews of crap I don’t want to read.
