It’s the original and proper Budweiser before the second world war split the company and then the U.S. staked a claim on copyright to the name.

Arseholes, big corporations telling smaller/original companies they can’t use the name they’ve always had even though they had it first. Grrrrrr.

I knew the history of the brand name, but I'm guessing they changed the recipe somewhere along the way as well, seeing as Budweiser tastes like rat piss and Budvar tastes likes angels running across my tongue.....

I guess they both kept tailoring it to local tastes, one went to the dark side or ‘light’ if you will, the other for people who enjoy proper beer. Lol.
