S uppedly the likeliest cause of this mystery vape illness is bootleg THC cartridges where the THC oil is thinned out with vitamin E oil which is a similar color and viscosity. It’s like coke dealers cutting it with shit like baby powder. Except vitamin E oil be comes toxic when heated and inhaled and causes lipid pneumonia.

Likely. Although what they said about young people being much more likely to vape rings true. If I had a dollar for every college age, educated person I know who legitimately believes that vaping is completely unharmful.... And that mindset transfers down to the kids in junior high. Everybody knows smoking kills you. 

I don’t see a reason to complain here. I'll take this over nothing being done at all

Cigarettes are well studied and the Hartford effects are well known. Vaping is unregulated, unstudied. Con sequently the effects are unknown across the board. A ban isn't overstepping any line as far as I'm concerned.

I suppose. I have a hard enough time breaking bad habits that aren’t reinforced with outside chemical dependancies, so I’m in no position to talk.

Having smoking continue to look un-cool is huge. If the smoker can't get a date in junior high or high-school.... They're not going to be smoking. That will nip it in the bud better than any program or product to ween people off.

It’s one of those things that requires you to be young and vulnerable to get sucked in nowadays. Like alcohol and other drugs, it is largely a social thing. Also useful for partying hard... If you’ve had a few drinks and maybe a joint, a few drags almost feel like a little adrenaline shot and you can keep plowing through the vices. So I've heard .
