I was reading an article on Gizmodo and I saw this ad:

Boomerbuggy?
I watched the video here:
http://daymak.com/boomerbuggy-x.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIlfaeuYTJ5AIVR4nACh0geQM5EAEYASAAEgKX3PD_BwE
And I have to say... as it’s depicted in the video riding on sidewalks, I hate it. I would hate to have these things hogging sidewalks all over the place.
And what do I see at 1:11 in the video? A TTC bus!!!
Hmmm...
And when I scroll down on the video web page, I see they’re based in Toronto.
So now I hate it a little less.
But still... having these things hogging sidewalks (and probably bike lanes) is a terrible idea... particularly in a busy city like Toronto.
No doubt though that there are at least some who will think this is great.

An enclosed mobility scooter with heat and A/C? The name checks out. That sounds like about the most boomer thing possible. If they catch on and the boomers get us to build some new, dedicated infrastructure for them to drive on and fund it with deficit spending that won’t be paid back until long after they’re gone, it would complete the package.

They are low speed electrics and top out at 35kph, so not really safe for the roads other than maybe in a city going a few blocks...
