Accord. I still think the GLI looks atrocious.

The correct answer is a Civic Si sedan, which gives you a real LSD and adaptive shocks for only $25k, and for  2020 now includes Honda Sensing, LED headlights, more red interior accents, and slightly less ugly wheels.

I really don’t get why some people think the GLI’s ugly, boring? yes . Regular Accord’s face with a chrome grill eyebrow is super ugly imo. The Black chrome one on a black sport trim fixes it somewhat

Didn’t like the GLI at first, but will say they look much better in person. I’d still go GTI, but the GLI is a great choice if you need more rear legroom.

I really like the Accord, however it’s a shame they neuter  it with such a bad manual. Guess it’s better than not having the option.

Kia Stinger GT for me. I’ve seen several for $10k+ under sticker.

Because the grill is super awkward. It’s also just a less practical Golf, that looks significantly worse.

So I watched this review they check that

Depending on your priorities, it’s not exactly less practical. Y es I have sat in both cars and the volume numbers are higher for GTI, but in real world use The GLI’s got more legroom lot more roomy in the back, and the trunk is the size of some midsize sedans. Unless you’re always carrying so much that you’re stacking stuff up, it would hold strollers and other stuff that the GTI also can.

Jetty because it’s not ugly and is leaps and bounds “nicer”. I appreciate the driving dynamics of the Si but any time I have driven any civic I just get this “ick” feeling.

I was almost set on a 2010 Si as a commuter, but didn’t even TD it (I had previously driven one of the same vintage). I was looking it over and my father said, “you’re looking at that car like it’s the ugly girl that just asked you to prom.” Hearing him say that was enough for me. So I bought a brand new Jetta instead which I liked and then grew to hate, but it was mostly what the car represented and the fact that it was a 2013 2.slow base jetta.

EDIT: I now realize that the accord was the car in question. Textured soy’s reply got me off on a tangent. My opinion still stands GLI over the Accord. The accord is good looking for a Honda... Also I didn’t watch the video.

I w ould take the GLI. The manual on the new Accord is god awful. The amount of rev hang present is something I’ve never experienced. I’ve heard the new Si does this too, not too the same extent. I haven’t driven the Si so I can’t say for sure. GLi is just a GTi in sedan form. Driving d ynamics of the VW are  much better than the Honda.

Wow I normally don’t like black wheels but those are OK and the front looks much better with the chrome deleted. So imma have to agree.

The front of the Si never was chrome. The only chrome on the Si is the window trim and badges. S tyling changes on the 2020 are the LED headlights which were available on other trims, the wheels, and the little body color strips that were added to the giant fake vents in the bumpers.

Is the Jetta that much larger now that it's going against the Accord and not the Civic or is this a powertrain based decision? I'd lean more Accord, less boy racer looks but similar performance
