Friend just got this to learn stick on.

It was the only white manual unit in the Bay Area, and on top of that it’s actually a pearl white.

But some amusing features (or lack thereof)... there’s no remote key fob AT ALL, for one. Just the metal key which must be used to lock and unlock.

Have we gotten to a point where engines have gotten so efficient that we just say screw it to aerodynamics with preference to aesthetics?

We don’t get the new Soul with a manual in Canada, which makes me very sad...the spec of your frien d’s Soul is exactly what I would want...

I wish the Turbo was available with a manual trans. If it did it would be a contender for my next car. It would be close to the Fit Si I’ve been wanting.

I think it’s more likely that aerodynamics modeling has gotten so good that designers can figure out how to get the look they want without sacrificing much for aero. That said, the Soul has a Cd of around 0 .36 which isn’t great by any standard.

Kia gives us a manual Picanto GT instead. Soul is dead to us in Oz.

These are not as efficient on the highway as, say, a Corolla or Civic. Aerodynamics of a brick.

Eh, as much as I like the idea, not really feasible. Canadian dollar is weaker, so I am paying more, and paying more on top of that for the gas to get there and back, plus import fees.

Actually we will get the e-Soul so I’m not sure what that says about us!

Kia actually gives us more models here than what North America gets...
